PRESS RELEASE
TRC DEVELOPMENT ATTENDS AOPA EXPO PALM SPRINGS
The Dutch company TRC Development b.v. , situated at Rotterdam-Airport in The Netherlands, will be exhibiting at The AOPA Expo in Palm Springs, California USA, at October 24 – 26, Thursday – Saturday 2002. TRC Development can be found in booth 2108, pavilion 2 of the Palm Springs Convention Center.
TRC Development will demonstrate its unique product “The Real Cockpit’s Basic ATD”. The Real Cockpit's Basic ATD system is an affordable and versatile entry level Aircraft Training Device. It is not using an LCD screen to simulate the instruments. Instead it uses mechanically driven instruments utilizing servo mechanisms and electronics. It is a realistic copy of the instrument panel of the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, with all the instruments on the exact same position as in a real aircraft. All this is driven by a PC running Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. The connection between the complete panel and the PC is realized through only one USB connection. The system is a perfect VFR/IFR training solution for home or business use like flightschools.
